After 13 years at Gartner, I decided it was time for a change and I've moved to the SANS organization to fight the good fight in security. I'll be blogging there - check out the Security Trends blog.
For this site, I will get back to more regular chronicling of hiking, biking and boating - or maybe in the short term some chronicling of physical therapy to deal with a partially torn rotator cuff..
I originally started this blog to blather on about Internet Security topics, but a few years ago I saw that Internet Security blogging had turned into self-referential navel gazing (SRNG), so I changed the focus to blogging about outdoor pursuits. I much prefer this.
But I do still work in Internet security and my company now has an official blog site where I will blather about Internet Security while working with every fiber of my being to avoid the SRNG stuff. If you are interested you can see it here.
